Short description
Using simple tools such as ropes and a group of volunteers, pop-up bike lanes can be registered as a demonstration yet still allow for traffic flow to continue - but with a new division of space.
Unlock-hypothesis
On the one hand, traffic users were automatically involved in the action and had an embodied experience of what infrastructural change could feel like. On the other hand, powerful images were created for political decision-makers.
